The Grind is back as The Grind Express!

But it’s different. Stay with me...

I’m Shari Jo Watkins. A year ago, if you had told me I’d be opening a coffee shop in Follansbee, West Virginia, I probably would have laughed.

That wasn’t the plan.

Not even close.

The plan was to start a coffee company that supported fundraisers and nonprofits while creating another way to advance the mission of Bold Brave Me and our Living Legacy Program—not to open a coffee shop.

Yet somehow, after a series of conversations, opportunities, introductions, and a whole lot of prayers, I found myself saying “yes” one more time.

If you’ve known me very long, you know I’m always a yes for Jesus.

And this story started with a yes.

Actually, it started with several.

Over the next few days, I’ll share how a cancer comeback journey, a coffee company, a few unexpected friendships, and a whole lot of faith somehow led me to Follansbee, West Virginia… and now to opening The Grind Express.

Looking back now, I can see God’s fingerprints all over the journey.

At the time, I was simply saying yes to the next step.

In the meantime, stop in and say hello.
