Visually Sound Optometry We offer complete eye exams, fashion eye wear, and contact lens fitting. We are panel members of VSP, EyeMed, Superior Vision and Humana Vision.

Full-service optometric practice established in 2017 providing comprehensive eye exams, treatment and management of ocular disease, prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses. We have over 2000 frames on display and have an in-office finishing lab for fast turn-around on high quality glasses. We are a small but growing practice and our patients mean everything to us โ€”Dr. Vavricek and the entire Visually Sound Optometry team want all of our patients to feel like family! We take MediCare and all PPO insurance for medical eye care visits.

We hear this question all the time! Your contact lens prescription isnโ€™t the same as your glasses prescription, and contacts are medical devices that sit directly on your eyes. Even if your current lenses seem to be working just fine, your eyes โ€” and the way your contacts fit them โ€” can change over time.

During a contact lens exam, your doctor checks that your lenses still provide clear vision, proper fit, comfort, and healthy oxygen flow to the cornea. We also look for signs of dryness, irritation, or other changes that you may not notice yourself. Your doctor can then determine whether your current brand, size, and prescription are still the best choice for your eyes.

Those tiny specks or squiggly lines floating across your vision are called eye floaters! They occur when the clear, jelly-like substance inside your eye changes over time, creating tiny clumps that cast shadows on your retina.
