Last week, Code 3 Mind Health in collaboration with Coast Cinemas and Netflix presented a special showing of a very important film.

“In Waves and War” is an exciting story of Navy Seals path to healing through the use of innovative treatments.

Following the movie there was a panel of four speakers (Navy Seal Todd Sharbutt, Zoe Sharbutt, Dr Richard L. Miller and Kianna Zielesch, PhD.) who answered questions about the treatment, its successes and the status of treatment for PTSD in the USA.

Code 3 Mind Health is proud to have been a part of presenting this important film.

There is A LOT of discussion and promising research around the benefits of psychedelic assisted therapy, particularly in those suffering from PTSD.

"In Waves and War", being shown by Code 3 Mind Health at Coast Cinemas on May 20th showcases this very experience. In this free documentary, viewers follow the journey of three Navy SEALS tormented with their unrelenting trauma after returning from war, leading to them exploring the potential of psychedelic medicine.

This raw and extremely educational documentary will be followed by a Q&A panel from retired Navy SEAL, Todd Sharbutt, and psychologists Dr. Kianna Zielsch, and Dr. Richard Louis Miller.

It’s time to sign up for the Red, White and Blue Run! This event will be held July 4th before the World Famous Salmon BBQ in Fort Bragg. Come out and walk or run for a great cause! Kiddie race, 5k fun walk/run, 10k run and 1/2 marathon events will start at the Noyo Headlands Park, with the race course taking you along some of the best coastal views in California.

This event benefits Code 3 Mind Health Inc and our mission to provide mental health wellness checks for first responders.

Are you a first responder? Please wear your department tee/sweatshirt! Once you are done with race, you can take in the fun Mendocino 4th of July Parade and/or go to the World Famous Salmon BBQ. Finally, finish your day with spectacular fire works (or fog works) over Noyo Bay!
