Not a bad “listen” if you’re curious about the doctrine answers

The evacuation system is a complex system requiring dedicated planning, rehearsals, and communication. This quick review put together by the U.S. Army Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate is a helpful refresher and can be used as a primer for LPDs.
A few quick notes:
- LSCO casualty projections will grossly exceed MEDEVAC capacity underscoring the requirement to plan (and dedicate) CASEVAC assets and operations.
- It is unlikely that casualties will be evacuated from POI to Role 3. Planning for continuity of care across the battlefield is crucial to reduce morbidity, mortality, maximize return to duty, and to ensure maneuver units are unencumbered.
- Evacuation operations must be trained with realism as a component of all collective training.
