The final count for the week (unless someone does something crazy in the next couple hours 👀) was 3 births! Tied for the most births attended in a week since last April. My muscles are thankful that it was 3 and not 4. 💪😅 The “choose your birthworker” trend was going around sometime in the middle of the baby cluster but I’m late to the party, as usual

What a weekend! Two babies born in just over 24 hours on July 4th and July 5th. Welcome sweet babies! Out for a real meal (and fresh tortillas) and some time with my family and now I’m refreshed and ready for whatever this week has in store! Who’s next? I can’t wait to meet you!

I took a bit of a break from births in May to focus on postpartum support and catch up on birth classes, but it was back to raining babies in June! One planned c-section, one unplanned c-section with a great outcome because mama listened to her intuition, two redemptive births- one unmedicated in the hospital the other a very nearly unmedicated induction, and two water births. All such a blessing to witness 💜

Dads, today is your day! I’ve had the absolute honor of watching 56 of you step into the role of Dad since Father’s Day last year. It’s such a blessing to witness so much love- the love for your growing family and the awe of watching the birth of your legacy. I’m so endlessly proud of each and every one of you. Happy Father’s Day!

So far in 2026, I’ve had the absolute honor of watching 21 of you birth your babies and mother them on the outside, while another 20 of you have cared for your body and your babies while awaiting their births. Today I’m praising the Lord for each and every one of “my mamas” and the ability to celebrate mothers and Mother’s Day every single day.

Another month full of countless blessings! April brought four sweet babies. Two of April’s births found redemption. One birth was so incredibly fast and one birth required so much courage and perseverance from the entire birth team, but especially mom, dad, and their little sweet pea. I also got to hang out with one of these little guys nearly everyday for his first month of life and that was so incredibly special. 🩵

Beth Conley, LPC & Art Therapist, is hosting an Intro session on May 18. I couldn’t be more excited to connect postpartum mamas with Beth and a group of others who are in the exact same stage of motherhood and navigating everything that comes alongside finding and loving yourself again. 💕

Last week, another (another!!! Wild) two sweet peas were born 24 hours apart, almost to the minute. Both families navigated some health issues that threw off their original birth plans. Both families showed such grace and strength as they adapted and formed new birth plans. Both families welcomed a sweet babe into so much love. It was a beautiful week 💕

Whoooo! 🙌🏻🥳 This was a labor of love and the true definition of biting off more than I could chew. When I signed up in May of 2025, I didn’t realize the time and brainpower commitment I was jumping into; I just knew that I had reached about max capacity of knowledge Spinning Babies could provide and I wanted MORE. Juggling full time birth work, full time postpartum work, and being a mom/wife/human ended up being overwhelming at times, but I doula’d myself through it and kept pushing even when it felt hard — just like I ask you all to do everyday. And now I have a few extra tricks up my sleeve for when your babies are being little stinkers about eviction and your bodies are sore in pregnancy and postpartum. 💜
