The vision of LifeVac came from a story that Arthur Lih, Founder and CEO of LifeVac heard of a woman devastated in a hospital following the death of her young son. The reason for his death was that a grape had gotten lodged in his windpipe and the Heiml

ich maneuver failed. Once he heard the story, he set out to invent an apparatus that could clear an airway of a choking victim and save lives. LifeVac is on a mission to bring this device to the public. We are located in the USA (New York),Europe (the UK), Canada, Australia, and Taiwan We strive to have LifeVac in homes, schools, disability organizations, restaurants, nursing homes, airplanes, etc. Our goal is to save as many lives as possible throughout the world.

Today, we received news that LifeVac saved a 9-year-old boy from New York who choked on a lollipop, a 60-year-old male (wheelchair user) from Michigan who choked on cereal, an 82-year-old female at an independent living facility in Pennsylvania who choked on meat, and a 2-year-old girl from Texas who choked on a butterfly hair clip. Keep spreading awareness that an option exists.

the highway at a campground. My neighbor's 1-year-old was choking on her own vomit while lying down. Her mom found her and she wasn't breathing. She called out for help. My husband rushed to help her. I ran to my truck to find my daughter's LifeVac. I then placed it on the baby. After one use, the baby was able to breathe. LifeVac saved a 1-year-old baby during our camping trip.”
