Meet Charles — our new Client Accounts Coordinator!!

And baby highland holder, obviously 😆

Charles has loved animals since he was a kid, so it's no surprise he ended up building a whole career around them.

He got his start in veterinary medicine over ten years ago on the East Coast — starting out as a kennel assistant and working his way up to a veterinary technician, then moving into operations.

Since relocating to Colorado, he's stayed in the veterinary world and is now the newest member of the CRV team, handling our client accounts!

And WE ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE HIM!

He's got a great sense of humor, fits right in with our crew, and we know our clients are going to love him. In fact, some of you have had the pleasure of meeting him in the field already!

Welcome to the team, Charles! We are so glad you’re here!

Also, keep him in your thoughts. He works with a lot of women. 😂

🎂 Happy Birthday to the reason Colorado Ranch Vet exists at all — Dr. Heather! 🎂

Today we’re celebrating the day the world got a little luckier: it’s the day our fearless leader was born. And thank goodness she was!

Because without her, there’d be no CRV — no early mornings loading the truck conversations, no watching doc fall into a pond (yes, it happened 😆), no seeing her get leveled by a sheep, roping cattle, chasing goats, and laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. Every.single.day.

Dr. Heather started this practice as a team of one. ONE. Just her, her truck, and a whole lot of grit. Fast forward to today, and she’s built something incredible — a team of five (soon to be fix, because yes, we hired another vet 👀 and she’s AWESOME - more details soon!), all because she had the vision, the work ethic, and the heart to grow it.

We could talk about her skills as a vet all day (and how fab she looks with blood dripping down her face 😅), but today we want to talk about her as a boss.

Because here’s the truth: we don’t just work for Heather — we genuinely LOVE working for her.

And that’s not something you can fake, and it’s not something every team gets to say. We show up because we believe in what we’re building here, and that starts with her.

So today, we’re not just wishing our boss a happy birthday. We’re celebrating the person who took a leap, built a practice from scratch, and created a place where her team actually loves coming to work.

If we lose Bridget on a call, this is where we will find her. Every time. We don’t even bother looking anywhere else anymore.

Where there’s a tiny ass, you’ll find Bridge 😆

Currently she’s working hard convincing Dr. Heather this little guy will fit in the vet truck. She has a plan. We leave the ultrasound machine behind and replace that space with the donkey.

Seems like a fair trade 😅🫏

What do we do on our days off you wonder?

Equal parts girl power and lots of laughs along the way!

The vet pack needed fixing, so the CRV ladies showed up to get the job done! Muscle, heavy machinery, and our usual constant sense of humor ✨

When the girls at Colorado Ranch Vet come together, there’s not much we can’t do. 💪

Ok, except anything earthworms. Dr. Heather is scared of them 🤭😬😆
