Summer heat is no joke, especially here in Frederick.

A few quick reminders to stay safe this season:
- Drink water throughout the day, don't wait until you're thirsty
- Take breaks in shade or AC during peak heat (12-4pm)
- Wear light, breathable clothing outdoors
- Watch for warning signs: dizziness, fatigue, headache, or nausea

If you're feeling off in the heat, don't just push through it. Heat exhaustion can sneak up fast, and it's always better to get checked than to wait it out.
