People sometimes ask what motivates me.

The answer isn't buildings.

Or move-ins.

Or checklists.

It's people.

It's seeing a daughter finally sleep through the night because she knows Mom is safe.

It's watching spouses become husbands and wives again instead of full-time caregivers.

It's families finding peace after months of uncertainty.

If there's one thing I hope people feel after meeting me, it's this:

You don't have to figure this out alone.

That belief is at the heart of everything I do.

Life has storms. A medical crisis. A difficult diagnosis. The realization that Mom or Dad can't safely live alone anymore.

I can't stop the waves.
But I can help families navigate them.

One conversation.
One plan.
One next step at a time.

Be the bridge.

One of my favorite songs is Bridge Over Troubled Water.

The lyrics remind me why I do this work.

Families rarely call me on their best day.
They call after a diagnosis.
A hospitalization.
A fall.
Or when they're overwhelmed by decisions they never expected to make.

My role isn't to make decisions for them.

It's to become the bridge that helps them move from fear and uncertainty to clarity and confidence.

Sometimes that's exactly what we all need.

Sunflowers steal my heart—always chasing the light and giving us a nudge to do the same.

Working with older adults and their families isn't about painting every moment with a rainbow. It's about being that beacon of hope when the storm clouds loom large.

Families don't need a walking encyclopedia; they just need someone to stand by them until they can see the path ahead. That's the guiding light I aim to be every single day.
