Real talk! VOICES in Freeport provides many resources and a shelter for women leaving domestic violence. Recently they had a funding resource eliminated. So, they are in need of women's hygiene products. St. John UCC, where I do yoga Monday nights , is doing a drive for feminine hygiene supplies. So, if you bring items and donate them Monday, your class is $2 off!! So bring as able and make a difference for a woman in need!

Adult/kid(s) yoga is in Freeport! Join us Monday evenings at 4:15 pm at 1010 S. Park Blvd, Freeport. The class is 45 minutes long and is fun with music and teamwork to connect with your kid(s) in a fun and safe environment. It's certainly great for burning off energy!
Each class is $5 for 1 adult and 1 kid. Each additional kid is $2.
**Please note** a waiver is required by my insurance as a yoga instructor, so be prepared to fill one out per kid. Also, before and after class, you can have more freedom, but once class starts, adults must stay with their kid(s). Breaks are ok for bathrooms, overstimulation, etc. Mats are nice to bring, but I do have a collection of mats and other yoga supplies as needed. And always - financial assistance is available for classes and yoga equipment. Private message for more information and to connect.

**Attention Belvidere yogis** My yoga classes at St. John's UCC are being cancelled. Due to high gas costs, low attendance, and changing life factors, I have to think local to the Freeport and surrounding areas.
Be on the lookout for online events coming out in November.
Much love and peace, namaste yogis!

So, is yoga a religion? Let's watch and find out!

10/12/2026

No yoga in Freeport today (10/12). Make sure to join us next week!
**We still have plenty of space for more yogis, especially in adult/kid(s) yoga!!**

Hey Freeport yogis! St. John UCC is taking up a collection of feminine hygiene supplies for VOICES, the domestic violence shelter and resource for women in Stephenson county. When you come to yoga next Monday (no yoga today 10/12), bring hygiene supplies! I am offering $2 off a class for everyone who donates!!

VOICES' survivors critically need something that nearly every woman uses in her life: sanitary napkins of every size. Our shelves are nearly empty of disposable maxi pads, overnight pads, regular pads, mini pads and panty liners.

Because of recent funding cuts, our funds are extremely limited to buy these items. Can you please help ensure our survivors have access to these essentials?

Call us at (815) 235-9421 for drop off instructions. As always, thank you in advance for your generosity.
