🌿 30-Day Sit Spot Challenge | Day 9 🌿
You’ve spent several days observing the beauty around you.
Today, notice the life that’s sharing your sit spot.
Every sit spot is home to a hidden community. Birds, butterflies, bees, squirrels, dragonflies, spiders, ants, and countless other creatures go about their day whether we notice them or not. When we become still, we’re given a glimpse into their world.
Nature isn’t performing for us—we’re simply quiet enough to witness it.
🍃 Today’s Nature Connection
Spend 10–15 minutes watching for wildlife in your sit spot.
Look for:
🐦 Birds flying, feeding, or singing
🦋 Butterflies drifting from flower to flower
🐝 Bees and other pollinators at work
🐿️ Squirrels climbing or gathering food
🕷️ Spiders weaving webs
🐜 Ants carrying tiny treasures
🐞 Any other creatures you discover
Observe without interrupting. Let them continue their day while you become a quiet guest in their home.
💚 Reflection Prompt
What animal or insect captured your attention today?
What did watching it teach you about patience, resilience, or simply living in the moment?
Sometimes the smallest creatures remind us of life’s greatest lessons.
📷 Bonus Challenge
Capture a photo of one of your wild neighbors—or a sign they were there, such as a feather, nest, web, track, or butterfly resting on a flower. Share your discovery in the comments!
