Center Point’s Intern-Based Counseling Services provide affordable support for students and families in Hall County and Gainesville City Schools. Under professional supervision, our counseling interns help clients work through challenges, build practical tools, and feel more equipped to navigate everyday life.

Originally established in honor of Jane Eve and Tom Wilheit, longtime advocates for mental health in our community, this program continues their commitment to making meaningful support more accessible.

We’re officially in the middle of the semester, and staying focused can start to feel a little harder.

If homework is piling up, try making it more manageable. Put your phone away for a bit, find a spot where you can focus, make a short list of what actually needs to get done, and tackle one thing at a time.

Take breaks when you need them, give yourself some grace, and remember that you don’t have to finish everything at once. A little progress is still progress.

• Give yourself permission to take a break
• Talk to someone you trust
• Get enough sleep and fuel your body
• Spend time doing something you enjoy
• Set boundaries when you need them
