Start with a few simple questions, then keep the information somewhere easy to update and bring to appointments.

We are proud to support programs that help open the door to healthcare careers in our community.

In late April, 28 seniors in the Medical Skills Program at Eastside High School completed certified nursing assistant coursework and training through an HCA Healthcare Foundation grant. Two students have already passed their state exams and earned their CNA licenses, and five completed clinicals at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. A warm thank you to our nursing leaders Jennifer Kverneland and Erica Crislip for visiting with these students at Eastside to present them with their certificates and to talk to them about careers in healthcare.

Programs like this help students explore hands-on paths into healthcare while strengthening access to future caregivers in our community. HCA Florida North Florida Hospital and HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital are proud to support local students as they prepare for what comes next.
