Dry needling is one of the tools physical therapists use to help release stubborn muscle tension and improve how your body moves 🎯

It’s not a quick fix — it’s part of a bigger, more intentional treatment plan designed around your body and your goals.

If you’ve been dealing with tightness, pain, or movement restrictions, this may be something worth exploring.

Babies are learning BIG skills all at once:

✨ Rolling
✨ Sitting
✨ Crawling
✨ Walking

And sometimes, they just need a little extra support to get there đź’›

Common reasons babies come to PT:
➡️ Head turning preference
➡️ Flat spots
➡️ Tummy time struggles
➡️ Delayed milestones

The best part? Early support can make progress feel easier and smoother ✨

At PPPT, sessions are:
✔️ Play-based
✔️ Gentle
✔️ Focused on parent education

If you’re unsure whether your baby needs support, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Why would a baby need physical therapy? 👶💛

Because those “first milestones” like rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking don’t always come easy, and sometimes a little support can make a big difference.

At PPPT, baby PT is always play-based, gentle, and focused on helping both baby and caregiver feel confident in the process.

Early support often means easier progress later on ✨

Dry needling is a skilled physical therapy technique used to target tight muscle bands and trigger points 🎯

It may help with:
• Muscle tightness and “knots”
• Headaches or TMJ pain
• Pelvic floor muscle tension
• Chronic or recurring pain patterns

During treatment, you may feel a quick twitch or mild ache, followed by temporary soreness that usually resolves within 24–48 hours.

At Practically Perfect, dry needling is always used as part of a full treatment plan, not a stand-alone approach đź’›

This is definitely not a post I'd like to make. I get teased all the time for identifying too strongly as a "strong independent woman" however the situation is what it is. My work wife, Nicole, did a beautiful job explaining things in the link.

Basically, I have had an unexpected brain injury in a time of life that was supposed to be magical. It was something I was born with, not my fault, not something that could have been predicted, and not caused by my pregnancy or postpartum phases. I've had two surgeries and been separated from family for over 7 weeks to recover in different hospital settings.

I had planned to return to work in early July, but as we scoot into June I realize that may not be feasible. I continue to try to financially make things work at Practically Perfect Physical Therapy to support the 6 employees and 4 subcontractors we have.

Please don't feel under any obligation to give anything, financially or otherwise, but many people asked how to help specifically and this would alleviate a lot of stress. đź’“

Even when a scar looks healed on the outside, it can still affect how your body feels and moves underneath.

If you’re experiencing tightness, pulling, or discomfort, there may be deeper tissue restrictions involved.

Dry needling is one of the tools we may use to help improve mobility and ease tension đź’›
