Come hang out with me in October! ☺️🧠🌸
Dr. Amy Merenda is one of those rare voices in the field who can challenge how clinicians think while making them feel supported in the process. Colleagues across Northern California school districts have called her sessions some of the most impactful professional development they've attended — and at the Bridging of the Minds Assessment Summit 2026, she's bringing that same energy across three connected sessions spanning both days.
With nearly a decade in public schools, a doctoral dissertation on the social impacts of ADHD, and a private practice built entirely around neurodiversity-affirming assessment, Dr. Merenda doesn't just talk about strengths-based work — she lives it. As the founder of Blooming Brains Educational Psychology and a Certified Facilitative Leadership Coach, she coaches neurodivergent youth and adults and trains clinicians to see what traditional assessment frameworks often miss: the whole person.
Her three-session arc at the summit takes attendees on a progressive journey — from the foundations of the neurodiversity movement, to affirming executive functioning strategies, to putting it all into practice in IEP meetings where it matters most for kids and families. Each session builds on the last, so by the time you walk out, you're not just thinking differently — you have the language, the tools, and the confidence to practice differently.
This is the kind of training that changes how you show up for your clients.
