Not all hearing difficulty sounds the same.

Sometimes hearing loss isn't about whether you can hear a sound. You may hear that someone is talking, but still have trouble understanding exactly what they're saying.
You might find yourself saying, “I can hear you—I just can't understand you.”

A baseline hearing evaluation gives you and your audiologist a starting point. Even if you're not noticing any problems today, having a record of your hearing can make it easier to recognize changes in the future. A hearing evaluation isn't only for when you notice a problem. Sometimes, the smartest time to check your hearing is before you think you need to.

A lot has changed since then... our logo, our technology and the number of locations we have across Long Island. But when we look at this old logo, we're reminded that the most important part of Ear Works hasn't changed at all. For 25 years, we've been here to provide thoughtful, personalized hearing care to the people in our community.

Meet Krystle, our Insurance Billing Specialist. Her work helps navigate the complexities of insurance billing and follow up on the details that can easily get lost in the shuffle.

It’s not always the most visible part of healthcare, but it’s an important one and we’re grateful to have someone as dedicated as Krystle helping keep things running smoothly for our patients and our team.

We've learned that hearing loss rarely looks the same from one person to the next. We've learned that the person sitting across from us matters just as much as the numbers on the hearing test. We've learned that technology can be incredible, but the right solution still starts with understanding the individual.

Most of all, we've learned that hearing care is really about helping people stay connected to the people, places, and moments that matter to them.
