Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a moment to reflect on courage, service, sacrifice, and love for others. We remember the lives lost, the families impacted, and the heroes whose legacy continues to live on through the freedoms we enjoy every day.

I would not be the therapist I am today if I agreed and supported everything my clients say and do.
That’s not what therapy is.

Therapy is not about blind agreement or telling people only what they want to hear. It’s about accountability, insight, growth, healing, and sometimes having difficult conversations that challenge unhealthy patterns, behaviors, or ways of thinking.

A good therapist supports the person, not every decision. There is a difference. Healing requires honesty, self-awareness, and willingness to grow. 💜🤍
