That transition deserves space, patience, and support.

When you register for our monthly gatherings, you'll receive your very own journal FREE. You’ll have the freedom to decorate it, doodle in it, write in it, fill it with photos, stickers, prayers, dreams, memories, or whatever feels like you.

And each month, we’ll give you a new journal prompt to help you pause and check in with yourself.

Let's address the elephant in the room... 🐘🤎

Yes, Melanin Mamas Collective is a Black-centered space.

It was created intentionally because Black mothers deserve spaces where they can walk in and immediately feel seen, understood, celebrated, and supported. Our children deserve to grow up seeing community that reflects them and reminds them they belong.

But creating a space for Black mothers does not mean it's a space against anyone else.

We know families come in every shape, culture, and background. Many families are in*******al. Many are multicultural. Many have partners, children, and loved ones from different communities. Those families are welcome here, too.

Our goal isn't exclusion.
Our goal is belonging.

For generations, Black mothers have often had to find ourselves in spaces where we were the only one in the room. Melanin Mamas Collective exists so that, at least for a little while, we don't have to wonder if we'll be understood.

If you value community...

If you believe every mother deserves to feel safe and supported...

Then you're welcome to walk alongside us.

Because when Black mothers are supported, families are stronger, communities are healthier, and everyone benefits.

Motherhood was never meant to be experienced alone.

Yet so many Black mothers find themselves searching for connection, community, and spaces where they simply feel seen.

That is why we created the Melanin Mamas Collective.

A monthly gathering where Black mothers can come exactly as they are—to laugh, connect, create, share, rest, and build lasting friendships with women who understand the beauty and complexity of motherhood.

This isn’t just another meetup.

It’s a village.

Each month, we’ll gather around meaningful conversations, creative activities, enjoy a meal or snacks , and our signature Motherhood Journals—beautiful keepsakes that will grow with you throughout the year as you document your motherhood journey.

Whether you’re expecting your first baby, navigating postpartum, or raising young children, there is a place for you here.

Our hope is simple:

🤎 That you feel seen.
🌿 That you build genuine friendships.
✨ That your children know they’re welcome.
🤎 That you leave feeling less alone than when you arrived.

Our Founding Gathering, Welcome to the Village, launches this September, and we would be honored to welcome you.

Registration is encouraged to reserve your Motherhood Journal, but it’s not required. If you decide to come at the last minute, come anyway. Come as you are.

Pregnancy can come with so many questions, emotions, and decisions. You deserve a place where you can slow down, be heard, and prepare for birth without pressure or judgment.

Every Saturday, I offer private Birth Planning Sessions in this beautiful, peaceful space at Seed & Soul Collective. Together, we'll create a plan that reflects your values, answer your questions, and help you feel more confident as you prepare to welcome your baby.
