Midweek ski days are the best. Especially when the top is warm and sunny. North Face was a bit chonky but the groomers were in peak hard pack condition. Made my little East Coast ski heart happy.

When you rent a public use cabin in advance and the day shows up and it’s -11. At least it was sunny and the views were good. Kicksled powered by dogs made for a fast trip there but unfortunately a cut paw put the team on light duty and into a dreaded bo**ie.

Exploring the lake by our house. We met a moose and Rueben didn’t get why we couldn’t play with the big dog. He also proved his husky heritage by trying to swim in the snow. Zeus as always was just a happy boy on adventure. Caught a lovely sunset.

Feeling like a total home renovation bad ass right now. New garbage disposal and a new faucet. 0 calls to my dad, 0 floods, 0 emergency plumbers, 1 minor finger injury. Now I have a sink that drains and a faucet I can use to fill up my dogs’ water dispenser.

Can he read directions? No. Does he have opposable thumbs and can use a screwdriver? Also no. Does he want to help? Yes....
