We’re praised for doing more.
Celebrated for pushing through.
Admired for always being available.
And before we know it, burnout starts looking less like a warning sign and more like a personality trait.
“I’ve just always been this way.”
“I work better under pressure.”
“I’ll rest when things slow down.”
“I’m just an “on the go” kind of person”.
Sound familiar?
Believe it or not- burnout should not be worn as a badge of honor….
Here’s the problem: things don’t magically slow down. At some point, you have to decide that your well-being deserves a place on your priority list too.
Not because you’re falling apart.
Not because you’ve failed.
Because you deserve a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
If this one hit a little too close to home, you’re exactly who I was walking toward. 😉
