This month we are talking about strength, and we had the privilege to create a beautiful poem inspired by our psalms this month with The Berkeley at Short Pump Residents! Just beautiful!!

Fun fact…

🦋🌙 The monarch butterfly and Luna moth teach us strength.

A monarch butterfly, weighing less than a paper clip, can travel thousands of miles during its migration. The Luna moth undergoes a remarkable transformation and adapts to an entirely new stage of life where they don’t even eat.

Both remind us that strength isn’t always about power. Sometimes it’s the endurance to keep going as the Monarch. Sometimes it’s the courage to adapt to a new normal as the Luna Moth.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn from two incredible leaders in dementia care, Teepa Snow and Missy Harden, during training at the Snow Approach Foundation in North Carolina last month!

This training filled my heart, especially because I attended with my mom/team member!

I left with new insights and an even deeper appreciation for the people we serve. The hands-on practice was incredibly valuable to our team!!

We are so thankful for the wisdom shared and the chance to continue growing in this important work. 💛🌻
