Today, on International Day of Hope, we're reminded that even the smallest act of kindness can change a life. Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for that one person.

Every surgery, every clean water project, every health outreach, and every opportunity we provide is a reminder that hope grows through action. Together, we're changing live, one person, one family, and one community at a time.

It’s hard to chase your dreams when your day is spent collecting water.

For too many children, the school day begins long before the first bell rings, with a walk to find water. Hours spent searching for a basic necessity are hours taken away from learning, playing, and dreaming about the future.

During our visits to communities in Kenya and Ghana, we witnessed the challenges families face when clean water is far from home. We met children carrying the weight of a daily responsibility that should never stand between them and their education.

Through our water projects, we are helping bring reliable access to clean water closer to schools and communities, giving children more time to learn, helping families build healthier lives, and creating opportunities for communities to thrive.

But there are still many communities waiting for access to safe, reliable water. Together, we can help bring water closer to those who need it most and help more children spend their days learning, growing, and chasing their dreams. 💧

Some moments stay with you long after you leave, not because of what was built, but because of what you felt.

At Ageng’a Primary School, Colleen Brennan, CEO & Co-Founder of XO World Project Foundation, spent time with students, teachers, and our partners at PLIKEN. It was a day filled with laughter, conversations, and the simple joy of connecting with the children, sharing smiles and handing out lollipops as they gathered around with curiosity and warmth.

“What we found was a community full of love, resilience, and hope. Their strength isn't defined by the challenges they face, but by the way they continue to support one another and dream for a better future.”

In moments like these, the importance of access to clean water and continued support becomes even more real, not as abstract goals but as daily needs that shape health, education, and opportunity for every child here.

Love travels wherever compassion leads. 💞

Representing the heart of XO World Project Foundation, our CEO and Co-Founder, Colleen Brennan, had the privilege of visiting Nabutuki Primary School alongside our partner and dear friend, Joan O. Musili, Executive Director of PLIKEN.

Together, they celebrated the handover of a large water tank donated by XO World Project Foundation, bringing reliable access to water closer to the students and community.

Moments like this are always special. Seeing the schools, meeting the children, and being welcomed so warmly by the community reminds us exactly why this work matters.

A big thank you to PLIKEN for the partnership and to the schools and community for the kind welcome and support. We’re truly grateful to be doing this together.

Where Water Flows, Hope Grows. Together, We Can Do More.

We were honored to celebrate the handover of two new large water tanks, bringing reliable water closer to the students of Ageng'a Primary School and Nabutuki Primary School, as well as the surrounding communities.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and community members for your warm welcome and hospitality. We are also incredibly grateful to our partner, PLIKEN, for your partnership and support as we continue expanding our water projects across Kenya.

While these water tanks are already making a meaningful impact, we hope this is only the beginning. Our vision is to help bring borehole wells to these schools, creating a sustainable, long-term source of clean water that will serve generations to come.

The greatest gift we can give a child is the opportunity to thrive. 💙

We’re starting July where access to clean water is finally part of the school day.

At Nangina School in Busia, Kenya, something as simple as a water tank has made a real difference. Students now have access to clean, safe water right at school—no more long walks or waiting to fetch water before or after class. Instead, they can focus on learning, playing, and just being kids.

We’ve seen them smiling, drinking water, and carrying jerrycans home for their families. Small moments, but they mean so much.

And this is just the beginning. In the next few days, we’ll be opening two more water tanks in Kenya with our CEO & Co-Founder, Colleen Brennan, bringing clean water to even more schools and communities.

Grateful to be starting July with stories like this.
