We are so grateful for the success of our You Matter Bags packing event hosted by Aurora Behavioral Health, Rising Phoenix, and Mojave Complete Recovery.

Together, with the support of our incredible community, we packed at least 170 care bags for individuals experiencing homelessness across the Valley; just in time as we head into the peak of Arizona’s summer heat.

Each bag was filled with essential, life-supporting items including cooling towels, sunscreen, Narcan, snacks, body wipes, and toothpaste/toothbrush kits. These small but meaningful supplies are intended to help provide immediate relief and resources during extreme temperatures and difficult circumstances.

What made this event especially powerful was the hands-on support from everyone who showed up, donated, and helped assemble bags that will now be carried in vehicles and distributed throughout the community when needed most.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and compassion to make this possible. This is what community care looks like in action.

Men's Mental Health Month

Many men have been taught to carry their struggles in silence.

This Men's Health Month, we want to remind every father, husband, brother, son, and friend that asking for help is not weakness. It is strength.

Mental health challenges do not discriminate, and no one should feel like they have to face them alone.

Checking in on someone can change a life. Sometimes, the most powerful question is simply:

"How are you really doing?"

Memorial Day 💙

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is a time for reflection, gratitude, and remembrance. As we spend time with loved ones, we also hold space for those who carry loss and for the families whose lives have been forever changed.

If this day brings up difficult emotions, know that you’re not alone. Support, connection, and space to process those feelings can make a meaningful difference.

Perfection Isn’t the Goal - Progress Is

Mental health journeys aren’t about being perfect; they’re about moving forward. Some days may feel lighter, while others can feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Both are part of the process.

What matters most is continuing to take it one step at a time.

You are not alone on this journey, and support is here whenever you need it.

Knowledge Is Key 💙

During Mental Health Awareness Month, take a moment to check in, with yourself and with others. A simple conversation can create a meaningful connection, sometimes when it’s needed most.

Reach out, share a resource, or reconnect with someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. Small actions can make a big difference.

Because knowledge leads to awareness, and awareness leads to support.

Building Resilience 🤍

Some days, motherhood can feel heavier than others, and that weight isn’t always visible.

Balancing your own emotions while caring for your child can be overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating new or unexpected feelings after becoming a parent. You’re adjusting, growing, and giving so much of yourself all at once.

Building healthy coping skills can make a meaningful difference. Whether it’s talking to someone who understands, finding ways to manage stress, or simply having a space where you feel heard, support matters.

You don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Simple practices like deep breathing, journaling, or talking with a professional, can help you navigate stress more confidently.

Growth takes time, but with consistent practice, these small steps can lead to lasting change.

Mental Health & Teens 💙

Growing up today isn’t always easy, and sometimes, teens need more support than what fits into a typical routine.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s important to recognize when a teen may need extra help managing anxiety, depression, or overwhelming emotions. Early support can make a lasting difference in how they cope, communicate, and move forward.

Our adolescent program offers a structured, supportive space where teens can build healthy coping skills, gain confidence, and feel understood, by both professionals and peers.

If you’ve noticed changes in your teen’s mood, behavior, or stress levels, it may be time to start the conversation.
