Words cannot express how heartbroken I am right now. At 1:01am on July 29th, 2024, Chance took his last breath.

Sunday afternoon he became very lethargic, could barely lift his head, and his legs and mouth were ice cold. After refusing to eat a hotdog or chicken I decided to take him to the Emergency Vet. The vet took an ultrasound and confirmed his heart was surrounded by fluid and the fluid was crushing his heart. The vet said there was nothing we could do to save his life.

Chance took his last breath with his sister by his side and surrounded by those that loved him.

Thank you to everyone that never gave up hope and believed in Chance when he only had a 2% chance of survival when he was just a couple months old.

He was an amazing dog and I'm so blessed I got to spend almost 10 years with him. I love you so much Chancey Pants. You will forever live in my heart.

Rest in peace my sweet boy 🥹💔

Just picked up the twins from the Vet.

The specialist decided not to do Love's hip removal surgery. After doing a thorough mobility exam of all her joints the specialist was concerned that if they did that surgery, Love may not be able to ever walk again due to her prior ACL surgeries and arthritis in her lower back.

The specialist put her on 3 different pain medications, anti-inflammatories, plus joint supplements, and wants to try intensive physical therapy for a few weeks to see if there's any improvements. If not, we will have to look into other surgery options, joint injections, and stem cell therapy.

Chance is doing well.... He's just higher than a kite. They had to extract 3 of his front teeth and they removed several masses from his tummy and foot.
