So of course, I wore it to reunite with my magical sister Jacq because when we collide, the air shifts, the veil thins, and all things feel possible. 🌒🌕🌘

August has always been a threshold month for me.

Back in 2006, I crossed a line I never thought I could walking away from a disintegrating life chapter with nothing but trembling courage and a whisper from Spirit. Each August since has brought changes, some joyful, others soul-stretching. But always transformational. Always sacred.

This year… the magic feels different.

There’s a rawness in the air. A shimmer of wonder. A knowing that something is brewing beneath the surface, both deeply personal and cosmically timed.

Today, we honor Lughnasadh, the Celtic First Harvest, a time of gratitude, ripening, and soulful reckoning. In the Slavic lands of my roots, this same energy pulses through Dozhynki, a festival of harvest, fertility, and the honoring of labor and land. We bake bread. We make offerings. We pause to give thanks for what has come to fruition… and prepare for the darker half of the year.

The wheel turns, and we turn with it.

Before the moth appeared on my doorstep today she was already stitched into the fabric I held in my hands. Literally.

I had just found this top. Black, knit, moon-charmed… with three embroidered moths resting across it like little guardians. I felt drawn to it. No reason. No logic. Just that inner yes.

And not even an hour later an actual moth arrived.
Brown, still, symbolic.

Coincidence? Never.

In many traditions, the moth is a messenger a symbol of:
