A gentle reminder: Needing support doesn't mean you're failing as a parent. Sometimes the strongest thing we can do for our children is ask for help when we need it. 🩷

I will forever cherish my autographed copy of Play Therapy: The Art of the Relationship by Dr. Garry Landreth. He had such an impact on my passion to become a Registered Play Therapist. I was so sad to wake up to the news of his passing this past week. Dr. Landreth was my first encounter when I began my training hours for my RPT credential. I will always remember the imprint he left on my playful heart. 💜

This!!!

Kindness isn’t something we can lecture into a child — it’s something they absorb from how we move through the world.

They notice how we speak to them when we’re tired.
How we treat the waiter, the stranger, the delivery driver, the neighbour.
How we handle mistakes — theirs, and our own.

Every interaction becomes a lesson:
This is how we listen.
This is how we care.
This is how we repair when we get it wrong.

Because children don’t just copy what we say — they mirror how we make them feel.

So if we want to raise kind humans, we start by being the softness they return to, and the compassion they grow to share. ❤️

✨ Exciting Announcement! ✨
Next Saturday, I’ll be presenting at an International Online Play Therapy Conference hosted from Istanbul on a topic I am deeply passionate about: Integrating EMDR and Play Therapy.
I’ll be sharing practical ways clinicians can blend these two powerful approaches to help children process trauma in developmentally appropriate and creative ways. 🧸💫
It’s an honor to be among professionals from around the world dedicated to healing and growth. 🌍
