🐾 Meet Asha: Our Newest Service Dog in Training! 🐾
We are so excited to introduce the newest addition to the Angels Coalition family—meet Asha! 🐶❤️
Asha is embarking on an incredible journey to become a certified Service Dog. She has officially been matched with a wonderful human who needs her support, but wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a trained service animal.
Because of our incredible community and supporters, Asha is being trained completely free of charge for her new handler! 🌟

Better late than never! ❤️🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from all of us at ANS Angels Coalition!

We hope everyone had a safe, fun, and happy Independence Day yesterday. As we celebrate our nation’s freedom, we are reminded of the incredible freedom and independence that a service dog can bring to someone’s life.

At ANS Angels Coalition, our mission is to provide fully trained service dogs at absolutely no cost to low-income individuals who need them most. Everyone deserves the chance to live their life to the fullest with a loyal companion by their side.

Thank you to our amazing community, volunteers, and supporters who help us make independence possible for so many families. We hope your holiday was filled with joy, family, and maybe a few extra treats for your four-legged friends! 🐾✨

🐾 NOW HIRING (Well, Interning!): Meet Ollie, our Service Dog in Training! 🐾

Big news, everyone! Ollie is officially enrolled in an intensive, treats-paid internship to transition from "Very Good Boy" to "Certified Professional Lifesaver." He’s working hard every day to master his new skills, and we thought we’d share his official job description so you can see what this handsome guy is up to!

💼 Job Title: Service Dog in Training (SDiT)
Employee Name: Ollie
Department: Companion & Support Services
Reports To: Human Partner (The Best Friend)

🎯 Primary Mission:
To provide specialized physical and emotional support, ensuring his human navigates the world safely, confidently, and with minimal stress.

📋 Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks:
Deep Pressure Therapy (DPT): Acting as a living weighted blanket on command. He is currently learning to cuddle constructively to help ground his partner during stressful moments.

Crowd Control ("Block"): Mastering the art of the tactical body shield. Ollie positions himself in front of or behind his partner to create a comfortable personal space bubble in busy environments.

Counter Balance Support: Providing a steady, rock-solid anchor to help his partner maintain stability and balance while walking or standing.

Advanced Item Retrieval: Serving as a polite, non-slobbery delivery service. He can pick up dropped keys, phones, or specific objects—though he currently specializes in rigorous "stress testing" and asset management of hammerhead shark plushies. 🦈

✨ Special Skills & Qualifications:
Advanced Visual Influence: Possesses a highly developed emotional compliance tool known as "The Puppy Eyes." One look can instantly secure extra breaks or praise from upper management.
Core Competencies: Exceptional impulse control (actively learning to ignore squirrels, dropped french fries, and eager strangers) and flawless leash-walking etiquette.

Experience: Extensive background in being incredibly cute; currently upgrading his skill set to include total focus in public.

💵 Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: Premium kibble, healthy treats, and high-value training rewards (freeze-dried liver or cheese).

Health Benefits: Frequent belly rubs, ear scratches, and mandatory nap times.

Meet Juniper!!

🐾 FUTURE SUPERSTAR ALERT:

Meet Juniper, the newest Ans Angels Coalition team member who's got skills to spare! This pup is on a mission to become the ultimate sidekick, and we're stoked to have her on board.
Juniper rocks her cool blue vest while working tirelessly to master skills that'll keep her handler safe and sound - think superhero training, minus the cape.

She's already paired up with her future BFF and is crushing training, tackling challenges that'd make seasoned pros proud. Check out Juniper's awesome job description:

Chief Pineapple Detective (Head of Security): Her handler's got a severe pineapple allergy, so Juniper's nose is being calibrated to sniff out pineapple in all its forms. If it smells like a tropical vacation, she's shutting it down!

Juniper's also learning to be a GPS navigator, finding vehicles, chairs, or exits on command.

When her handler needs a hug, Juniper's got expert-level snuggles covered under Weighted Blanket On-Demand (Deep Pressure Therapy).

As Chief Retrieval Officer & Wheelchair Assistant, Juniper's learning to pick up dropped items and assist her handler's wheelchair needs. Who knew being a service dog could be so ruff?
