We are excited to host Fishing With Vets this coming July 16th-19th, for a veteran fishing weekend!

Registration is now open today through June 22nd!
Fishing with Vets is the premier Veteran fishing program in Minnesota, known for exceptional events and beautiful locations to take Veterans to fish around the Midwest. ⁠

Similar to Camp Bliss, they started over a decade ago with a simple request from a Veteran looking to get back to a hobby he loved, and 12 years later, they've hosted almost 1,000 Veterans at lakes across the states. We are honored to host them here at Camp Bliss for the first time for a pan fishing weekend at our own Long Lake, and host them at our beautiful Lodge. ⁠

Itasca DAV Chapter 13 Adjuant Sandi L. Braunstein and Treasurer Shawna Meinke had the honor of presenting a $2,500 donation to the Bemidji Minnesota Veterans Home. These funds will help support the needs of the veterans who call the facility home. We are proud to give back to those who have served our country and thank the Bemidji Veterans Home for the care and dedication they provide every day.
