Emotions are not truth-tellers. Feelings are not facts. We can-- and should!-- give our emotions the space to be felt. We must also recognize, however, that they don't always listen to reason. Remember that sometimes your first, emotional reaction to a situation may not be the most rational one. Take a moment to check in with yourself and take stock of how you're feeling before moving forward.
