Our team at StoryPoint Portage wrapped up summer with a Summer Bash filled with waterslides, games, a grill out and, of course, plenty of 1440 tattoos.

It’s one example of how our teams bring our culture to life: working hard, enjoying it and finding reasons to have fun together along the way. ✨

Across StoryPoint communities, residents and employees formed teams and spent the week solving puzzles, completing physical challenges and trying new activities together. It gave everyone something different to look forward to each day and plenty of opportunities to connect with their neighbors.

Some moments carry the weight of history. 🇺🇸

StoryPoint Fort Wayne North residents WWII Navy Veteran Bill Hoover and Navy Veteran Jerry Pawlak were honored aboard Honor Flight Northeast Indiana’s 57th Honor Flight, joining fellow Veterans for a remarkable journey to our nation’s capital. 🫡✈️ From their arrival at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to a day filled with reflection, gratitude and emotion, it was a powerful tribute to two American heroes who gave so much in service to their country.

🎖️🎖️Bill and Jerry represent generations of courage, sacrifice and patriotism, and watching them receive the recognition they so deeply earned made this an incredibly special moment for the StoryPoint community. It is a privilege to have these two remarkable Veterans call our community home and an opportunity to once again say thank you to Bill, Jerry and every Veteran whose service has helped protect the freedoms we cherish.

And when Bill and Jerry returned home, their community was ready to welcome its heroes back with the fanfare, pride and celebration they so greatly earned. ❤️🤍💙
