Our perspective shapes more than our mood—it shapes our health. When we see every challenge as a threat, our body stays in a constant state of stress, raising cortisol, tightening muscles, and wearing us down. But when we shift perspective—even slightly—from frustration to curiosity, or from control to connection, our nervous system relaxes.
This shift doesn’t change the situation, but it changes our internal response to it. Our heart rate steadies, digestion improves, inflammation lowers, and the body moves from defense to healing.
Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do isn’t to change our circumstances—but to change the way we see them.
