Not every sleep struggle is actually a sleep problem.
Sometimes what looks like “just won’t sleep” is actually reflux. Sometimes it’s a food allergy or sensitivity. Sometimes it’s a growth or developmental piece that hasn’t been identified yet.
A sleep plan built without ruling these out first isn’t really a sleep plan, it’s a guess. And guessing with your baby’s sleep, safety, and comfort isn’t something you should have to settle for.
As an RN and Pediatric Sleep Consultant, I look at the whole picture before we ever talk about sleep strategies, because sleep struggles never happen in isolation.
If something feels off beyond “just” sleep, let’s find out what’s actually going on.
