Kiwanis Gravette The Gravette Kiwanis club meets from 7-8 AM at the Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas. Kiwanis' mission is to serve the children of the world.

Gravette Kiwanis would like to invite you to our Pancake Breakfast and quilt raffle for Gravette Days on Saturday August 8 from 6:30-10 AM. Tickets can be bought from any Kiwanis member or at the door. Proceeds are used for scholarships and serving children of our community. This is our club’s 50th year.

Join the Kiwanis Gravette lunch club this Friday, July 17, from noon to 1pm as we host Rob Smith with the Northwest Arkansas Council. Come listen, ask questions and share your input on the needs and challenges facing our area.
Where: Ozarks Community Hospital Annex, right next to the OCH cafeteria. 1101 Jackson Street, SW in Gravette.
When: July 17 from noon to 1 pm.

Jay Oliphant presented the following scholarships from Kiwanis to the following Gravette High School graduating seniors: the Corey Mosier Scholarship was presented to Cameron Bedwell. The Al Kuettner Scholarship was presented to Jaryn Jackson. Both the Gravette Kiwanis Club and Earl Collins Scholarship from the MOARK district were presented to Leslie Alvarez.

Gravette Kiwanis and Ozarks Community Hospital held a Stem Cell donor drive recently and added 49 potential donors to the registry. Members of the Gravette Key Club also helped. This can be a lifesaver for individuals with leukemia and lymphoma. Many thanks to Gayla and Maggie McKenzie for organizing this.

Kate Verkamp was our speaker for Gravette Kiwanis today. Her husband had a stem cell donation 6 years ago for leukemia and is going well. We are doing a stem cell donation drive today until 1:00 at the Ozarks Community Hospital Annex.
