Franklin County CPR grew out of the 2016 Bernie Sanders for President campaign. When it became evident that Bernie would not be the Democratic candidate we shifted gears, knowing that whoever won the general election, the political revolution would still need us. Our goal is to

work for progressive issues in Franklin County and beyond. Renewable energy, universal healthcare, free public college tuition, civil rights & social justice, workers rights, campaign finance reform and peaceful conflict resolution are all part of our platform. Our General Assembly meets 4 times a year and membership dues are only $10. Visit our website to join our email list and learn more.

FCCPR witnesses at the Burlington ICE Facility.

“Franklin County Continuing the Political Revolution (FCCPR), a local grassroots organization committed to progressive causes, helped organize transportation by chartering a bus with 48 passengers to make the roughly 100-mile trip, with more carpooling. People came from Franklin and Hampshire counties to join the demonstration, with more than 100 others in attendance.”

Franklin First Candidate Endorsement--Voting

There are five people vying for the seat recently vacated by Natalie Blais. Three have asked for our endorsement. The first step in the endorsement process involves posting the responses to a questionnaire (link in comments) which we sent to the three candidates seeking endorsement.

The election will run from Wed 5/20, 12:01am to Sun 5/24 at 11:59 pm
As a dues paying member of FCCPR, you have the opportunity to use Rank Choice Voting to select your candidates in preferred order -- first, second and third -- for the Democratic Primary for the First Franklin district. Please look for an email from Opa Vote with your ballot. A candidate must receive at least 60% support to receive FCCPR's endorsement.

You had to be a dues paying member by May 1st in order to vote.
