"Sit in the suck — but don’t sulk."

That’s a skill. 💡

When something doesn’t go your way, you don’t have to pretend it doesn’t hurt. Loss, disappointment, frustration — those are real. Give yourself a minute to feel it and process what happened.

But don’t move in and live there.

Sulking is when the loss starts becoming your identity. When one bad outcome turns into “I’m not good enough,” “I always mess this up,” or “what’s the point?”

That’s where growth stops.

The goal is to feel the weight without letting it define you. Learn from it, adjust, and remind yourself that you are more than one result. 💪

Losing well doesn’t mean you don’t care.

It means you care enough to keep going.

Spot the difference 👀

Shoulder pain isn’t always just a “shoulder” problem.

A lot of the time, it comes down to how well the shoulder blade is moving and how well the muscles around it are doing their job.

In this video, we’re looking at scapular protraction and retraction — basically how the shoulder blades move apart and come together. When someone has difficulty getting full retraction, or their shoulders keep dumping forward, it can change how the arm moves and increase stress in the front of the shoulder.

That’s where impingement-type pain can show up. ⚠️

If the muscles that control the shoulder blade aren’t activating well, the shoulder joint loses support. And when that happens, motion gets limited, strength drops, and pain can become part of the pattern.

The goal isn’t just to “stretch the shoulder.”

It’s to improve the pattern.
Improve muscle activation.
Improve control.

Better shoulder blade control = better arm control.
And that usually means less pain, more strength, and better function. 💪

💰 Why is healthcare one of the only places… you don’t know the price upfront?

You wouldn’t buy a car, book a trip, or hire a service without knowing the cost.

But in healthcare?
You get treated first… and figure it out later. 🤯

That’s where a lot of the frustration comes from.

People want transparency —
but the system isn’t built to give clear answers.

And then there’s the “just use an HSA” conversation…

Reality check:
$5k–$10k doesn’t go far in a true emergency. ⚠️

So what actually matters?

👉 Knowing what you’re paying for
👉 Understanding your options
👉 And having a real safety net when things go wrong

It’s not one solution — it’s knowing how the pieces fit together.

💡 The more you understand it, the less you get caught off guard.

We're doing another Softwave demo day this week!

By the time most people come to Limitless, they’ve already tried a lot. Rest, stretching, YouTube exercises, maybe even other treatments that didn’t quite deliver. And somewhere along the way, a quiet thought starts to creep in: “maybe this is just how it is now.”

⭐ A 62-year-old nurse thought that. Her shoulder pain had gotten so bad she could barely hang an IV bag, something she had done thousands of times in her career. Today, she’s back in the gym pressing 25 lb dumbbells overhead, pain-free.

⭐A runner training for the London Marathon with quad tendon pain that had her convinced she’d have to drop out. She crossed the finish line this past weekend with no knee pain.

⭐A 68-year-old who loved riding her horse but back pain and burning in her legs made even getting on the horse feel impossible. Now she’s mounting without a step stool and riding again.

These aren’t small things. This is identity, freedom, and getting your life back.

And here’s the truth most people don’t realize: the problem usually isn’t that your body can’t heal, it’s that it hasn’t been given the right stimulus to do so.

That’s where SoftWave comes in.

So take advantage of this while the spots last!

🏆 Winning isn’t the real advantage… learning how to lose is.

Most people spend their lives trying to avoid losing.
But the people who actually move forward?
They just got better at handling it.

When you learn how to lose well, a few things change:

Fear starts to lose its grip. 🧠
You stop playing safe… and start playing freely.

You become more real.
No mask, no pretending — just you.

You stop spiraling when things go wrong.
And people actually want to be around that energy.

And ironically…
the wins feel way better. 🔥

Because you’re not constantly worried about losing them.

💡 If you can change how you respond to losing,
you change how you show up in everything.

💡 Who pays often shapes what gets done.

In any system, the payer becomes the customer — and that influences decisions more than people realize.

When reimbursement drives the model, it can start to narrow the pathway. Not necessarily because providers want it that way, but because there are real constraints to keeping a business running.

You can’t ignore what keeps the doors open.

But that creates tension.

Because what gets paid for… isn’t always the same as what’s most individualized, most evidence-based, or most appropriate for that specific person in front of you. 🤔

So the system pushes toward consistency and efficiency — even when the situation calls for something more tailored.

That doesn’t mean people aren’t trying to do the right thing.

It just means the structure they’re working within matters.

And understanding that helps explain why experiences can feel so different depending on where and how you receive care.

Shockwave therapy is one of those tools that gets talked about a lot — but it’s often misunderstood.

It’s not a shortcut.
It’s not a one-time fix.
And it’s definitely not meant to replace proper rehab.

Where it fits best is in the gap between persistent pain and true tissue recovery.

When combined with the right loading strategy, it can help move people forward — especially when progress has stalled.

That’s the key: integration. 🔑

At Limitless, we don’t just apply treatments — we build plans. Shockwave is one piece of a bigger system designed to restore movement, improve capacity, and get you back to what you actually want to do.

If you’ve tried “resting it” and things aren’t changing, it might be time for a different approach.

👉 Let’s figure out what your next step should be.

👯‍♀️ Same team. Same environment. Different stages.

Addie and CJ — twins playing on the same college soccer team — both putting in the work, just in different ways.

One is focused on performance, pushing strength and capacity.
The other is in early-stage rehab, rebuilding the foundation.

And that’s the reality of sports.

Rehab and performance aren’t separate worlds — they exist on the same spectrum. The environment you’re in matters. Athletes don’t just need exercises… they need a space that feels like sport. Competitive. Focused. Intentional.

Sometimes, having someone right next to you — especially a teammate or sibling — makes the process even better.

Because whether you’re returning to play or leveling up performance, you’re still an athlete the whole way through💪⚽

🦴 From a surgeon’s perspective: surgery is just the beginning.

A successful outcome isn’t determined by one day in the operating room. It’s determined by what happens in the months that follow.

Surgery can address the structural problem — but rehab rebuilds the strength, mechanics, and movement patterns that keep the issue from coming back.

Without that process, it’s common for pain or dysfunction to return once the initial relief fades.

The operation may take a few hours.
Recovery takes consistent work over time.

If the goal is long-term results, finishing the rehab process matters just as much — if not more — than the surgery itself.
