Please join us for our Dementia caregiver Support Group. The next meeting will be Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 5pm-6:30pm. The event will take place at Spring Arbor of Greenville in our sunroom. To RSVP, call 252-355-7003. This month's speaker will be Amanda Biggs, the Project C.A.R.E. Family Consultant with the Mid-East Commission Area Agency on Aging supporting 29 counties. Amanda is owner and operator of “Reminiscing With Me”, providing in-home social stimulation to persons living with dementia. She is a part of the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) and has obtained the Certification in Advance Clinical Dementia Practices from the University Of Michigan. She has over 30 years of experience in working with care partners and their loved ones who lives with dementia. She is also a Virtual Dementia Tour (VDT) Facilitator/Trainer and is an Independent Trainer for the Positive Approach To Care (PAC), the Teepa Snow model… She chairs the Pitt Defeats Dementia Committee of community partners in Pitt County, and also Facilitates a monthly Caregiver Support Group called “The Memory Café."

Today our residents celebrated National Watermelon Day! Did you know that watermelon is 92% water and packed with vitamins A and C, as well as antioxidants like lycopene, making it both hydrating and nutritious! It's a great way to stay hydrated during hot summer months. 💧🌞

It's almost that time again for our annual Chicken Alfredo Fundraiser benefitting The Greenville-Pitt County Senior Games. Pick up a delicious meal for a meaningful cause. Price is $14/per plate. RSVP with number of plates by August 28th. Pick-up will be at Spring Arbor of Greenville on Thursday, September 3rd from 11:30am-1:00pm.
