It was such a joy to have some time with y’all this afternoon. I am smiling recalling Winston’s smiles and giggles. It was cool that he thought of his chest brace and Devin’s helmet & leg brace as armor, the two of them together would make it complete. They’re such brave boys, our warriors. Winston definitely impressed me advocating for himself & asking for what he needed, which wasn’t much;) We’ll be seeing y’all again soon. ✌️& 🤟
We had a special surprise appearance from Our Fight with Brain Cancer - WE ARE 🫶🏼🎗️
Cancer has taken a lot from us but it has also given us a lot too. So grateful for the friendships along the way. I met Heather (Devins mom) and another good friend Lindsey at the start of Winston’s journey when I was lost and confused and they helped guide me, lift me up and stay strong especially in my faith.
