Five years ago, I was drowning in wine every night, hiding bottles, lying to my family. Rock bottom came when I missed my daughter's recital, passed out on the couch. That morning, I chose life over liquid courage. Today, I celebrate clear mornings, genuine laughter, and being truly present for those I love.
