Flex Friday!

I’ll be 49 in a few weeks. I’m currently trying to gain 5 pounds of muscle… it’s hard.

I gained 3 pounds but my abs started disappearing so I adjusted my training and fueling and weight went back down 2 pounds and abs are coming back.

So roughly 4 more pounds to go!

What are YOU working on?
A parkour skill?
Calisthenics?
Body composition change?

For real, I wanna know!

Question for my friends…

Sundays just opened up for a few 1-on-1 personal training sessions.

If you and I were working together to build strength, improve mobility, and help you move with more confidence…

Which would you choose?

💪 1 session per week
💪💪 2 sessions per week
💪💪💪 3 sessions per week

I’m genuinely curious.

(No commitment. I’m just wondering what feels realistic to you.)

Some of my favorite coaching moments don’t happen when someone sets a personal record…

They happen when they realize they’ve been making progress all along.

I keep every workout my clients complete on a clipboard.

Not because I like paperwork—but because progress deserves to be measured.

Yesterday, I flipped back through Tom’s workouts and noticed something pretty cool.

On one of his lifts, he’d added 5 pounds every single week.

When I showed him, I could see it click.

“Wait… I’m actually getting stronger.”

That realization is one of my favorite parts of coaching.

John had a great day too, hitting 2 personal records of his own.

Different people. Different goals. Same result…

They’re becoming stronger, more capable, and more confident than they were a few weeks ago.

That’s why I coach.

Not to create elite athletes.

Not to crush people with workouts.

To help ordinary people discover they’re capable of more than they thought possible.

Sometimes the biggest value of a coach isn’t counting reps…

It’s helping you see progress you didn’t even realize you were making.

Movement builds confidence. Progress builds belief.

💙

What progress have you made lately that you haven’t stopped to appreciate?

A few months ago, a guy named Andy walked into our gym as a guest. He wasn't even there because he found us.
Another member, Andrew (so now we jokingly call him "Old Andy"), invited him to come check it out. I had no idea that one visit would turn into so much more. Andy joined right away.

Then he brought his 71-year-old dad, Greg, to one of our Adult Movement Reset workshops. Greg joined too. Then, at our most recent Reset, Andy showed up again... this time with three more people.

That's when it hit me.
People don't become ambassadors because you have the coolest gym or the flashiest marketing.

They become ambassadors because they believe in what you're doing and want the people they care about to experience it too. That was a great reminder for me.

My job isn't to convince everyone to join. It's to coach the people in front of me so well that they naturally want to bring someone else along.
So if you've been thinking about trying the Adult Movement Reset, maybe take a page out of Andy's playbook. Bring a friend.
