Ten years ago, had a vision for a Beauty Brunch.
She didn’t know exactly what it would become. She simply knew she wanted to create a space where women could come together, encourage one another, feel beautiful, and tap into the beauty that lives within.
Over the years, that vision has become so much more.
Through the Beauty Brunch, scholarships have been awarded, makeovers have been given, clothing closets have been created, women experiencing financial hardship have been supported, incredible women have been honored, survivors have been celebrated, and countless women have simply been loved on.
But the story of the Beauty Brunch almost never began.
Just before the very first brunch, Dr. D was hospitalized and experienced a near-death experience. At that moment, she could have never imagined that the vision in her heart would still be alive and growing a decade later.
But here we are — 10 years later.
Ten years of women coming together.
Ten years of encouragement.
Ten years of giving.
Ten years of celebrating women.
Ten years of reminding women of the beauty they already possess.
And for the 10th anniversary, the Beauty Brunch is returning to its birthplace — Andiamo, off the water.
This year’s theme, The Beauty in Becoming, beautifully represents the journey. Because over the last decade, the Beauty Brunch hasn’t just celebrated who women are — it has celebrated who they are becoming.
