A huge thank you to Candle Euphoria in Newport News for hosting such a wonderful candle-making appreciation night for our case managers! 🕯️💙

Everything was so thoughtfully done, and when a few of our guests weren’t able to attend at the last minute, she even packed up everything they needed to finish their candles on their own. Such a kind and thoughtful touch!

Thank you for helping us create such a fun and special evening to celebrate our case managers and all they do!

Sometimes it’s the little things on a community calendar that tell you so much about a place. 💙

While visiting a local skilled nursing facility, I stopped to look at their activity calendar and loved seeing how much thought goes into keeping residents active, engaged, social, and connected.

When I visit communities and facilities throughout Hampton Roads, I’m not just learning about rooms, care levels, and services. I’m paying attention to the things that can make a place feel like home—activities, social opportunities, the staff, and how residents spend their days.

These visits help me better understand the resources in our area so when a senior or family needs guidance, Oasis can help them navigate what comes next.

A calendar may seem like a small detail, but for the person living there, what happens each day can make a very big difference. 💙

Sometimes a cup of coffee is just a small way to say thank you. ☕💙

I had the opportunity to drop off coffee for a local social worker and remind her just how appreciated she is.

Social workers carry so much every day; supporting patients, helping families navigate difficult decisions, coordinating discharges, finding resources, and somehow keeping all the pieces moving.

At Oasis Senior Advisors, we want social workers to know they don’t have to carry every part of that process alone.

A big thank you to Bayside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Virginia Beach for taking the time to give me a tour of your facility last week!

It was wonderful to learn more about the care and services you provide and, even more importantly, to see firsthand how welcoming and supportive your team is with your patients and families.

At Oasis Senior Advisors, building strong relationships with local healthcare providers is so important to us. The more we understand about the resources available throughout Hampton Roads, the better we can help families navigate their options when they need support.

This little guy came over to say hello during one of my stops this week. 😊

A big part of what makes Oasis Senior Advisors different is that we are local and out in our communities. I spend time visiting assisted living, memory care, hospitals, rehab, and long term care communities throughout Hampton Roads so I can better understand the options available to the families we help.

When a family calls Oasis, they aren’t just getting a list. They’re getting someone local to help guide them through the process.

And apparently, I’m making a few new friends along the way! 🪿😂
