August is Psoriasis Awareness Month. Psoriasis is an auto immune disease that can be successfully treated using oral and topical medications. Chlorine, sunscreen and too much time in the sun can all cause psoriasis to act up in the summer months. Ask our pharmacist for recommendations.

We are getting cranked up for flu season and we prefer the flu vaccine given in October. The flu shot takes a few weeks to peak and last for 6 months, with flu season lasting into April don’t fall for the September marketing. We also have the Pneumonia, Shingles, Tetanus/TdaP (Reminder tetanus is good for 10 years but around 2 years for the Whooping Cough component) and the RSV. We can help you with your vaccine history also.
