"I didn't like my therapist so I'm just not going back!"

It's okay to say goodbye to your therapist and just because the first one doesn't work out doesn't mean you shouldn't go.

Over the years, I have had several clients tell me that they wanted to go a different direction. Let me tell you, I don't take it personal.

Therapy is supposed to be a space we can vulnerable and open. And one of those vulnterable conversations is "this is not a good fit".

But don't stop there. Use websites like PsychologyToday and Therapy en to determine what therapists might be a good fit for you.

Focusing on many of the things that teens have to cope with and overcome, we will not only focus on the clinical implications but the spiritual ones as well. 🌱
