The 547‐bed, Level II Regional Trauma Center and flagship hospital of Forrest Health, features specialty services in the following areas: behavioral health and addiction, cancer, emergency and trauma, heart and vascular, orthopedics and neurosurgery, general surgery, and women and children’s services. What do Girl Scout cookies and a 3D-printed wheelchair have in common?

Girl Scout Troop 4884!💙

Using money raised through cookie sales and a whole lot of teamwork, these young engineers built a pediatric mobility trainer that's now helping children at Forrest's Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Department experience greater independence.

And the best part? The girls are only in third through seventh grade.

Forrest Trauma Services recently provided Stop the Bleed training to 24 students at the Marion County Career and Technology Center for Health Sciences!

Students learned techniques to control life-threatening bleeding and put those skills into practice with hands-on instruction from our Trauma team.
