This page has been set up to support our very dear friend Bryan Johnson. He has not asked for help, nor would he. Actually, he didn't know anything about this fundraiser that we have been in the process of putting together until just recently. Bryan Johnson is a 29 year old father to a precious little girl. He has dedicated his life to helping others. For 12 years he has volunteered as a firefighter and first responder for Central Lamar FD and Oak Grove FF; even after he was diagnosed and even after his treatments started, he was still on the front line helping others. We have decided that it is time to give back to someone who continues to give so much. In November of 2014, at the age of 28, he was diagnosed with
Sinonasal undifferentiated carcinoma ("SNUC"). SNUC is a a rare aggressive type of cancer that arises from the nose and/or sinuses. This is a very rare and very aggressive disease. Bryan is one of the youngest in the US to have this diagnosis. He is in for the fight of his life, but we have no doubt that with treatment, prayers, support and strength that he will win this battle. Bryan has had multiple surgeries to remove to tumors from his nasal cavity. He has also had to have multiple treatments of chemo and radiation. This Cancer is very aggressive and he is fighting the battle of his life. Obviously, he is unable to work; medical bills and living expenses do not stop just because you're unable to work and bring in an income. We are doing multiple raffles and fundraisers to help Bryan pay his medical bills and living expenses. EVERY penny we raise will go straight toward his expenses. We have two raffles we are currently working on:
