Strength training isn't just for athletes, it's for all of us.
LLose It!recently published a piece exploring who should be doing strength training, and the answer is pretty much everyone. Here's what I contributed:

"We all need to be able to have the strength to enjoy our daily activities. It might look different for various populations, but there is always weight that we are lifting, even if it is the resistance of our own body weight when we stand up from a seated position, or to lift our children."

This is the reframe I always come back to- strength isn't about performance or appearance. It's about living fully and moving well through everyday life.
