The Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah begins tomorrow at sunset, and ends at nightfall on Sunday, September 13th. It marks the start of the Jewish year 5787.
Apples and honey are eaten to symbolize a sweet new year, and round challah is served instead of braided loaves, often with raisins.
Cantor Alex joined us yesterday to educate our residents, and we always love hearing his amazing voice!
