It was such an honor to represent Kansas at the 2026 Symposium and House of Governance this year. Not only did we represent KSRT on governance but we played many roles in announcing speakers, worked as marshals, attended the fundraiser events and were chapter delegates. ASRT had a few surprises like a mariachi band, polenta food truck, service dogs and a visit to the ASRT headquarters and the museum (pics in another post) A fun but exhausting trip thank you ASRT.

The Medicare Access to Radiology Care Act will help improve access to radiology care by ensuring radiologists receive Medicare reimbursement for services provided by radiologist assistants, supervised by a radiologist as part of a radiologist-led team. ASRT supports this important step to strengthen patient access and recognizes the value of medical imaging professionals.
