NURSES....We have not forgotten you!! We would like to take the opportunity to THANK all nurses who work long hours, with demanding patients, are underpaid and underappreciated much of the time. You are the backbone of our hospitals, ERs, urgent cares, home health, wellness clinics, schools, daycares, and so many other places. We are so grateful for all you do day in and day out. Please give a shout out to your favorite nurses and thank them for the work they do and all they sacrifice to help others. (Jacob)

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, but everyone could benefit from working to improve mental wellness EVERYDAY. Improving our mental health does not always mean therapy. There are things we can do on a daily basis to improve our daily lives. I am sharing this in hopes that others will join us in celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month and putting an end to the stigma on mental health. From actionforhappiness.org

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention month. We would like to recognize two local organizations for the amazing work they do in our communities. The Children's Advocacy Center of Green River District provides so many services to our communities to keep children safe and supported. New Beginnings Sexual Assault Support Services provides many services as well, not only to children, but adults as well. These organizations are close to our hearts and the work they do is incredible. Take time to send the workers at these organizations the love and support they deserve.
