So yesterday was a blue chucks kinda day! I am excited about this cooler weather so I broke out the thin long sleeve shirt and jeans! (Wow, wearing real clothes in this “Pandem”!) Rocking a scarf, and my blue all stars. Yup!! It’s Autumn people!!! Look alive! This Pandem has been a blessing in so many ways!!

Lord, bless my left handed baby. She’s learned to navigate in a right-handed world. I am fascinated watching her cut this fabric backwards and upside down and from the other direction. Whatever! She got it done. Lol.

Self Care is important!!Jumped up this morning and made our way to St Louis for a much needed vacation! I think we will stay her for a few days and enjoy some sun and wind in my face. Enjoy being just “him and I” before the kids arrive.

Every so often things happen which really make me pause and reflect on who I am. My blackness is beautiful and bold. Intelligent and kind. Creative and carefree. Strong but soft where it counts.

Sometimes I Pause and celebrate Spirit who guided and God who loved me when tears flowed down this brown skin. It’s hard to explain the emotion that I feel. It’s a mixture of so many things.

Many will never take the time to get to know me and judge me just because of my reflection. Just because of the reflection they see within themselves when they look at me. Think on that.

What does your heart reflect back to you when you look at me? It has nothing to do with who I am but everything to do with who you declare yourself to be. Hmmm... ❤️❣️ @ Hendersonville, Tennessee
